Cahills Crossing over the East Alligator River, into Arnhemland. This ford was the site of a fatal crocodile attack a few years ago, as well as a site where 4WD vehicles will be washed off the ford during high water. The river is tidal and impassible during high tide, this picture is showing low tide.
